You can’t really enjoy this game without lagging. It’s a pain to see no difference in FPS switching from preset 0 to preset 6 in this game with that graphic card. Tera is CPU based and Intel CPU’s work better than AMD. But still that’s no reason that the game should perform really bad on older Phenom II which is Quad Core at 3.8 Ghz.

The reason this bug / issue is really annoying, is if you have your camera zoomed out decently far, and you walk past a tree, some of that trees canopy/leaves will be right up in your camera. And you will be seeing it at the 2nd best resolution level. But if you zoom your camera out further, and leave your character stationary, the tree leaves will pop into the highest resolution threshold. So put the setting on 0 or 1, and zoom your camera away from your character maybe halfway between max camera distance, and right over your shoulder.
It’s early in the generation, during a pandemic, programming for 8 different consoles. Give the developers a break and time and it will get better. It may not display this or other websites correctly. Although personally in TERA I think the FoV is fine, but its nice to know that people can change it if they want to. As long as they keep a stable framerate 99.9% of the time it’s not an issue. There’s a lot to be gained by avoiding triple buffering.
